الْبَيْتَ

This term has many dimensions one can delve into but I’m going to keep it within the confines of our current topic.

Since we are mainly focusing on 3 dimensions or “خطوط” We can perceive the word “بيت” as any Complete System made up of a number of SubUnits (حجار) built on a single Foundation Layer (كعبة) centered around a Foundation Stone (حجر اساس). Construction of the System is called (عمر) and the people who can build any given System are referred to as that System’s Qualified-As in they have the necessary qualities to construct the System properly-meaning in compliance with the Architect’s specifications. So if the architect in a discusion is The Creator God, then those same words are carried over to identify the things that fill these positions by logically extrapolating the House into the dimension of religion while retaining the relationships highlighted above. And then the net result can be carried over further or reveal many more hidden truths in other dimensions as well.

Similar to the modern day methodology of using the same or similar words that play analagous roles across multiple dimensions, The Qur’an uses this same technique (just like we showed in the red box section” with house as one of the main reference points and poles to other dimensions. The word is so basic and fundamental in its meaning that it functions a lot more like a prefix or a suffix than a noun. So let me use the 3 following dimensions to illustrate my point:

Family: A family Unit: House of X, or modern day: Household

Proof: A proven Belief system-Religion: House of God.

Structural: A built home: House.
